Happiness and fear. That was what you felt stepping into the class. She was an imaginative woman for sure, but this wasn’t the most characteristic thing about her. The children came into the class without knowing what they were entering. Unpredictable, this was Maite.

You never got bored on her classes. She used to do different and interesting classes, with a lot of funny activities: theatre, puppets, draws... she had many ideas to make us learn in a funny way. She used to explain everything with examples in a visual way, she was good on her job, but she was a little strange too making classes. I remember Maite getting angry when we used to leave our carpets on the table. She wanted us to keep them in a specific shelve. She was a very tided and perfectionist woman. She taught us all to make oral presentations and to talk in public. She made active classes and all the things that she thought us are important and curious.
However, she used to tend to exclude some people of her activities. I will never forget when Maite organized a theatre play with her students but she didn’t leave some of them to participate in it, like Laura, and she will never forget this! She used to criticise all she saw, it was irritant for sure! She said everything that came up to her mind. I remember maite making cry some of her students once or twice. Sincerely, i don’t remember maite being anyone’s favourite teacher, I suppose that her personality and her treat with all of us was more important for us that how she made her classes.

Years will pass and I will meet a lot of teachers and professors, but I swear that I will never forget Maite.
