I have a thousand or a million memories with my family. As most of the children of my generation, I used to spend most of my time with my family, my parents, grandparents, cousins… which we used to lose with the age. We get older, more busy, we don’t feel up to spend our time with our family and we prefer to be with our friends. So I keep all these memories with a special affection.

The most familiar and special day in the year was the Christmas day. We used to meet with my dad’s family every 25th of December in one of our houses. The years that we made it in our house, my dad used to cook a delicious "galet soup" and my mother prepared a beautiful plate with a lot of nougat sweets and other typical Christmas sweets that she kept in the kitchen while we were eating the soup. And I still remember going quietly to the kitchen while the others were eating the first plate, eating some of the sweets, then my mother showing to all the family the dessert and saying: "I thought that I had bought more!"

After the lunch my sister and I used to play all the afternoon with our cousin Marina. We loved her so much!! She made us tickles and played Playmobils with us. Now, she is in her mid twenties, she has her partner, her house, and her own adult life, so she doesn’t spend Christmas with us,
Everything has changed, that’s what life is about, but sometimes I’d like to go back and be in these days once more.
